Campaign Overview
Ayden Activation Group supported the Houston Gamblers with a multi-layered street-level awareness campaign designed to build visibility ahead of the team’s home opener at Shell Energy Stadium.
With the Gamblers competing in the new UFL landscape following the USFL/XFL merger, the campaign was built to reintroduce the team, educate fans, and create real-world momentum across Houston.
Instead of relying on one location or one audience, Ayden Activation Group placed the Gamblers directly in front of sports fans where they were already gathering across the city.
The campaign helped build momentum leading into the home opener, which drew 7,744 attendees.

Strategy
The campaign was built around one simple idea:
Show up where Houston fans already were.
Ayden Activation Group targeted high-traffic sports and entertainment corridors to create repeated exposure across multiple audiences. Digital Backpack Billboards created mobile visibility, Brand Ambassadors drove direct engagement, and sidewalk decals and wild posting reinforced the message beyond live activation hours.
This layered approach allowed the Gamblers to be seen across game-day traffic, nightlife corridors, pedestrian zones, transit areas, and local gathering points.
Execution Highlights
Deployed a 6-person Brand Ambassador team across key Houston activations
Activated across Houston’s busiest sports, entertainment, and pedestrian corridors
Combined Digital Backpack Billboards with direct face-to-face engagement

Audience Response
The campaign generated strong curiosity, recognition, and conversation from Houston sports fans.
Common fan comments included:
“Is this a new team?”
“Did they change their name?”
“Where do they play?”
“Is this the USFL or XFL?”
“Ludacris at halftime?”
“I remember the Gamblers.”
A key field insight was that fans connected with both the current team and the legacy of the Houston Gamblers. Several fans referenced the original Gamblers and Jim Kelly, which created deeper conversations and stronger brand recognition.
